Job summary

PCS PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled engineer to plan, lead, and supervise maintenance activities and engineering projects across process instrumentation and control systems in a Singapore facility.

The role covers instruments, valves, gas chromatograph analyzers, DCS platforms (Yokogawa Centum CS/VP and Honeywell TPS/Experion), PI Historian, Safety PLCs, and Advanced Process Control systems. Candidates with 2+ years of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2+ years in process instrumentation, analyzers, process controls, or computer systems/servers.
• Entry level candidates in relevant engineering disciplines will be considered.
• Must be resourceful, analytical and have good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and supervise maintenance activities and engineering projects on process instrumentation (including valves, field and rack-room instruments, chromatograph analyzers).
• Plan, lead and supervise maintenance activities and projects on DCS systems (Yokogawa Centum CS/VP, Honeywell TPS/Experion), PI Historian, Safety PLCs and Advanced Process Control.

Job Scope

• To plan, lead & supervise maintenance activities and engineering projects on process instrumentation (including control valves, shut-off valves, field & rack-room instrument, process gas chromatograph analyzers).
• To plan, lead & supervise maintenance activities & engineering projects on Distributed Control Systems (including Yokogawa Centum CS/VP system and Honeywell TPS/Experion System), PI Historian system, Safety PLCs and Advanced Process Control systems.

Requirements

• A recognized Bachelor Degree in Chemical, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering;
• Preferably a minimum 2 years of experience in handling process instrumentation & analyzers, process controls, computer systems/servers;
• Entry level university candidates in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering disciplines will also be considered;
• Resourceful and analytical in problem solving;
• Good written & verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and report writing.
