Job summary

CLSA Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a dynamic Client Portfolio Manager to spearhead expansion of our institutional client base in Singapore and ASEAN. You will lead client acquisition, enhance investment offerings, and diversify strategies, while deepening relationships with banks, insurers, corporates, and large investors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Business, Economics or related fields.
• At least 3 years of institutional sales, CPM or Investment Specialist experience.
• Existing network across banks, insurers, corporates, or sovereign wealth funds is advantageous.
• Strategic mindset with ability to translate market insights into business plans.
• Entrepreneurial drive to thrive in a growth-oriented environment.
• Exceptional communication skills in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in CRM systems, Bloomberg, and advanced PowerPoint/Excel.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a targeted sales and investment strategy to acquire and retain institutional clients.
• Lead the promotion of the firm’s investment products across Singapore and ASEAN.
• Conduct deep-dive analysis of client portfolios to align offerings with objectives and risk.
• Monitor macro trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity for growth opportunities.
• Develop tailored pitch books and client proposals to articulate value propositions.
• Maintain CRM tracking to optimize client engagement and pipeline management.
• Partner with investment, product, and compliance teams for seamless delivery of solutions.
• Deliver regular updates to senior management on sales and investment metrics.
