Job summary

Walkers, a leading international law firm, invites applications for a candidate to join its Singapore IDR team. The role targets an ambitious lawyer with offshore experience and strong technical skills in insolvency and dispute resolution across multi-jurisdictional matters.

You will advise financial institutions, funds, and corporations on complex recovery and litigation, while contributing to business development and client relationships to grow the firm’s regional presence.

Qualifications

• Offshore experience with 5-8 years post-qualification.
• Excellent academics and commercially driven.
• Solid legal skills with market and client knowledge.
• Experience in business development with clients.

Responsibilities

• Advise on contentious and non-contentious financial services matters.
• Handle insolvency mandates including liquidations and schemes.
• Advise banks, funds, corporates on recovery and disputes.
• Develop and expand client relationships across the region.
• Maintain revenue generation and cost management targets.
• Support partners and contribute to cross-border initiatives.
