Job description

About the role

The Insights Lead enables better decisions through a deep understanding of consumers, markets and category dynamics. Working closely with Business Unit leadership, Strategy, RDD, Commercial and Go-to-Market teams, the team identifies opportunities for growth, helps shape category strategies and ensures the voice of the consumer is embedded across decision making. The team combines consumer understanding, market intelligence and commercial insight to influence decisions across the category lifecycle, from long-term strategy and innovation through to launch and in-market optimisation. You will be expected to maintain a forward-looking view of changing consumer needs, market dynamics and emerging trends, proactively identifying opportunities and risks that may impact category performance. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you will convert complex and often ambiguous information into clear recommendations that influence both strategic and operational decisions. In addition to leading major insight programmes, you will help establish best practices, frameworks and ways of working that strengthen insight capabilities across the Business Unit. You will work across global and regional teams to ensure consistent, high-quality insight generation and application, while fostering strong partnerships that maximise business impact. Success in this role requires strong commercial acumen, intellectual curiosity and the ability to influence at senior levels. You will bring together multiple sources of evidence, challenge assumptions and help drive a more consumer‑centric approach to decision making across the organisation.
