Dyson Institute in Singapore is seeking a senior Category Manager to define and drive the category strategy across the full product lifecycle. You will own the category roadmap, from portfolio planning and new product introduction through to ongoing optimisation and end-of-life management, partnering with Engineering, Finance, Operations, Revenue and Market teams.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, you will define and drive the category strategy, ensuring a strong consumer-led portfolio that meets market needs and delivers sustainable commercial growth. You will own the category roadmap across the full product lifecycle, from portfolio planning and new product introduction through to ongoing optimisation and end-of-lifemanagement. Working across Dyson, you will partner closely with Engineering, Finance, Operations, Revenue, Office of the CEO and Market teams toensure consumer, commercial and business priorities are reflected in key decisions. You will represent the category internally, using market insights, competitive intelligence and consumer understanding to shape future opportunities and deliver category performance.
Category & Portfolio Management
Support category strategy development through market, consumer and competitive insights. Manage business cases across the product lifecycle, identifying risks, opportunities and deviations from agreed objectives. Contribute to portfolio planning, roadmap discussions and commercial recommendations. Monitor category performance and develop actions to improve sales, profitability and market competitiveness.
Launch Readiness
Lead cross-functional launch readiness activities for new products. Coordinate stakeholders to ensure operational, commercial and marketing readiness ahead of launch. Track launch milestones, risks and dependencies, escalating issues where required. Support forecasting, launch planning and business performance reporting.
Commercial & Market Execution
Development of pricing, go-to-market and category activation strategies. Translate market feedback and consumer insights into briefs for Commercial, Campaign and Creative teams. Partner with global and local teams to ensure consistent positioning, messaging and execution. Support development of product claims, value propositions and category narratives that strengthen market competitiveness.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Build strong partnerships across Engineering, Finance, Operations, Revenue, Creative and Market teams. Influence stakeholders through data-driven insights and sound commercial judgement. Lead cross-functional workstreams and drive alignment on category priorities. Communicate performance, risks and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.
Significant experience in category management, product management, commercial strategy, portfolio management or related disciplines. Strong commercial acumen and experience developing business cases and performance recommendations. Experience leading complex cross-functional projects in a matrix organisation. Strong analytical capability and ability to interpret large, complex datasets. Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills. Strong project management and execution focus. Comfortable operating in ambiguity, managing competing priorities and driving outcomes through others. Commercially and financially astute, with sound business judgement and a bias for action.
