Teamlease Digital Private Limited in Singapore is seeking an experienced Innovation Platform / Cloud Engineer to design, manage and continuously improve cloud-based sandbox environments used for rapid technology experimentation. The role emphasizes governance, security, regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will enable teams to experiment with emerging technologies while maintaining strong IAM controls, API integrations and secure deployment pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT systems, cloud engineering, platform engineering or related areas.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, platform administration and system integration.
• Experience with APIs, testing and application integration.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, containers and virtualization technologies.
• Understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM), cybersecurity and IT governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage cloud-based sandbox environments for technology experimentation and validation.
• Establish sandbox governance, onboarding processes, access controls, operating procedures and evaluation frameworks.
• Manage platform availability, performance, utilisation, troubleshooting and day-to-day operations.
• Monitor resource utilisation and identify opportunities to optimise performance and cloud costs.
• Review resource consumption and billing records, investigate discrepancies and support accurate chargeback.
• Ensure sandbox environments comply with cybersecurity, privacy, governance and regulatory requirements.
• Continuously improve sandbox capabilities based on user and project requirements.
• Develop reusable frameworks, playbooks, best practices and reference architectures.
• Build self-service platforms, development toolkits, APIs, cloud environments and shared services to accelerate innovation.
• Provide technical guidance to project and innovation teams on cloud platforms, architecture, governance and adoption.
• Support integration of emerging technologies into existing IT environments.
