HP Singapore is seeking an Ink Chemist to join the Tuas Ink Plant. You will acquire knowledge and contribute to product quality and availability, qualify raw materials, process changes and new product introductions.

You will work with a team of chemists and engineers to design formulations, perform analytical testing, and support ink performance requirements. Occasional travel to the US may be required to collaborate with the San Diego team.

Qualificações

• Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Material Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a high technology manufacturing or R&D environment.
• Experienced with and understanding of chemistry concepts, practices, and laboratory procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Acquire knowledge and provide ongoing Engineering contributions to the Ink Plant in Tuas, Singapore.
• Qualify raw materials, processes, formulation changes and new product introductions.
• Define and implement chemical analyses and test plans for ink formulations.
• Work with product/process engineers on ink characterization and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with global teams; travel to the United States for short periods when required.
