Job summary

ITCAN PTE. LIMITED is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to support design and implementation of client systems. You will install, configure, and maintain servers and applications, and assist with upgrades and virtualization.

You will develop IT standards, write documentation, perform qualification testing, and participate in disaster recovery planning. A solid knowledge of Windows servers, Hyper-V/VMware, and security is essential.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Server/Workstation OS and Active Directory.
Understanding of databases and basic database administration.
Excellent knowledge of Hyper-V, VMware, Dell VRTX.
Knowledgeable in IT security/cybersecurity; able to address scan findings.
IT backup and disaster recovery with yearly testing and evidence collection.
Knowledge of Emerson DeltaV, PLC/SCADA, hardware and networking.

Responsibilities

Design and support IT infrastructure for client projects.
Install, configure and maintain new and existing systems and applications.
Assist with implementation of new/upgraded systems and/or virtualization.
Develop and implement IT standards and procedures in line with industry trends and corporate standards.
Write, review, and update documentation for systems.
Perform qualification testing on new and existing systems.
Disaster Recovery planning and testing.
Create and maintain knowledge articles and SOPs.
