Job summary

Sciente International Pte Ltd is seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex infrastructure initiatives in Singapore. You will ensure quality, timelines, budgets, and alignment with business objectives while coordinating across multiple environments.

The role requires hands-on experience with virtualization, SAN, and cross-functional collaboration across Network, Security, Storage, Database, Workplace, and Telecom domains.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering IT infrastructure projects end-to-end.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure components and environments.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Hands-on virtualization, batch environments, SAN experience.
• Experience across Network, Security, Storage, Database, Workplace, Telecom.
• Ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder reporting.
• Proficient in MS Project and MS Office for planning.

Responsibilities

• Clarify client requirements and translate business needs into structured requirement lists.
• Define project deliverables, assumptions, risks, issues, and appropriate mitigation actions.
• Anticipate compliance and regulatory requirements and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders.
• Define, measure, and report project KPIs with the appropriate level of information.
• Identify required resources and establish and coordinate project teams across different environments.
• Report and elevate significant risks and issues to the Sponsor and local management.
• Manage project changes, communicate impacts to the Sponsor, and obtain required approvals.
• Track project budgets, actuals and forecasts and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Establish controls to ensure project deliverables meet validated requirements and manage handover to production teams.
• Continuously improve project management processes, toolkits, and methodologies.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Strong expertise in IT infrastructure project management and project cycle methodologies;
• Hands-on knowledge and understanding of key infrastructure components and environments;
• Strong experience in managing multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously;
• Practical knowledge of virtualization, batch environments, and SAN technologies;
• Experience across Network, Security, Storage, Database, Workplace, and Telecom projects;
• Strong ability to identify, assess, anticipate, and mitigate project risks and issues;
• Strong resource management and project team coordination capabilities;
• Good experience in project budget tracking, forecasting, and stakeholder reporting;
• Strong knowledge of MS Project and MS Office suite for project planning and reporting;
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Desired Skill-set

• PMP or other relevant project management certification would be a plus;
• High-level understanding of software development;
• Experience working in banking environment.
