Job summary

Keppel (Infrastructure Division) is seeking a diligent Investment Associate to support end-to-end infrastructure investments in Asia Pacific and beyond. You will help identify opportunities, underwrite deals, conduct due diligence, build financial models, and coordinate deal documentation with internal teams and external advisors.

The role involves post-deal asset management, reporting, and travel to key markets.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant investment experience in infrastructure sectors.
• Strong academic qualifications.
• Proficient with market and industry research in infrastructure.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, able to work with limited supervision.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Independent critical thinker with strong financial modelling skills.
• Ability to make investment and asset management decisions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong ability to present using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Willing to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Support senior team in identifying and evaluating potential investment opportunities, underwriting, structuring and executing transactions in Asia Pacific and other regions.
• Conduct and maintain detailed financial modelling to assess or support prospective investments; Present financial analysis to key stakeholders.
• Conduct and coordinate various due diligence work streams with internal teams and external advisers/consultants.
• Work with internal teams and external advisors to plan, negotiate and structure deal documentation, contracts and financing.
• Prepare investment papers, presentations and other materials as required.
• Project manage investment and divestment processes including auctions and bilateral/off-market transactions.
• Support asset management strategies with investee companies post-closing initiatives and performance oversight.
• Responsible for periodic reporting (quarterly and annual investor meetings) and assist in marketing materials.
