Job summary

BUSINESS EDGE PERSONNEL SERVICES PTE LTD on Grange Road in Singapore is seeking a qualified professional to conduct feasibility studies for school development, review designs, and propose cost-effective solutions. You will evaluate consultants' proposals to meet MOE requirements and manage construction procurement and contracts.

The role requires a degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of building regulations, and excellent collaborative and communication skills

Qualifications

• Degree in architecture, building or engineering.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Good knowledge of building industry and regulations.
• Strong collaboration, communication and project management skills.
• Understanding of cost estimation and quantity takeoffs across project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies for school development and propose cost-effective solutions.
• Evaluate consultants' design proposals to meet MOE requirements and maintainability.
• Collaborate with development and contracts teams to review project management processes.
• Manage procurement of construction services and administration of contracts.
• Enhance partnerships with schools and stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.

Location: Grange Road

Salary: up to $4500

Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays: 8.30 am to 6.00 pm

Contract: till 31 May 2027

Job Description

• Conduct feasibility studies for school development, review existing school designs and propose innovative and cost-effective solutions for future educational facilities
• Evaluate consultants’ design proposals to fulfil MOE’s operational requirements and fulfilment of maintainability needs
• Collaborate with development project and contracts teams to review project management processes
• Manage the procurement of construction services and administration of construction of construction contracts
• Enhance partnerships with schools and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality building projects and services
• Responsible, hardworking and efficient in carrying out the tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Requirement:

• Degree
• Relevant training and background in the areas of architecture, building or engineering with at least 3 years of relevant working experience
• Good knowledge, understanding and expertise in the building industry and building regulations
• Strong collaborative, communication, interpersonal and project management skills
• Understand cost estimation, measurement and quantification of construction works, throughout the project lifecycle.
