Job summary

Tap Growth ai is seeking an experienced Senior Network & Security Engineer to join our Network Services team. The role focuses on building and maintaining enterprise-grade network infrastructure across data centers, campuses, remote offices, and the public cloud, with a strong emphasis on security and reliability.

You will lead deployment projects, collaborate with vendors, and support on-call rotations. Expertise in AI-enabled network operations and MCP server configurations is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead network deployment projects, ensuring timely and successful implementation of network solutions.
• Work closely with vendors and third-party providers for solution architecture, equipment procurement, and installation.
• Provide Tier-3 support for network & security-related issues and participate in a rotating network operations on-call schedule, including weekends, supporting a multi-vendor network for the enterprise network.
• Create, maintain, and review high-level design, low-level design & operational practices across the teams.
• Drive network operations and day-to-day task efficiencies through automation.
• Experience in deploying and working with AI tools applied to network operations, including AIOps platforms, AI-assisted troubleshooting, and anomaly detection
• Experience in the deployment and configuration of Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to enable large language models to interact with and query network infrastructure and operational data is highly desirable.

Join our team as an experienced ICT infrastructure engineer and help drive the stability, scalability, and security of our technology environment. We are looking for a dedicated professional with strong expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level IT infrastructure.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior network & security engineer to join our team in the network operations and engineering function. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. The role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the network.

Part of a team that is responsible for the Network Engineering, Operations & Deployment function and supporting Datacenter, Campus, Remote Offices, and Public Cloud Network.

This is a technical hands-on role in the Network Services team as Senior Network & Security Engineer.

Preferred qualifications

A bachelor’s degree and 8-14 years of experience in core network technologies, including Cisco ACI, Checkpoint & Palo Alto firewalls, and F5 load balancers & WAF.

• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing complex networks for datacenter or public cloud migration projects.
• Proven ability to implement and oversee large-scale network deployments.
• One or more of the following certifications—CCIE, CCNP, PCNSE, CCSE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking—specialty or equivalents
• Strong fundamental knowledge in LAN, WAN, and network security technologies and products.
• Excellent project and vendor management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence and communicate effectively with non-technical audiences and senior management.

Mandatory Skill Sets

• Expertise in Application Delivery Network products—F5 Load Balancers & WAF

Good to have skill sets

• Experience in Application Delivery Network products—Bluecoat Proxy & Akamai CDN.
• Experience in managing Infoblox IPAM, DNS, and DHCP solutions.
• Experience in managing microsegmentation products like Illumio and Guardicore.
• Experience in managing voice infrastructure with Cisco CUCM and Verint Recorders.
• Experience in managing network management systems like SolarWinds, Riverbed & Thousand Eyes.
• Experience in performing deep packet capture analysis using Wireshark or similar products.
• Experience in network automation using Ansible & Terraform.
• Experience in managing network security products like NAC, ISE & Algosec.
