Tech Aalto Pte. Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support data center operations, hardware deployment, Kubernetes management, and networking tasks in Linux and Windows environments.

You will deploy and maintain data center hardware, manage Kubernetes clusters on bare metal or virtualized environments, and implement secure networking and automation scripts to improve performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows administration.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster deployment and management.
• Networking expertise, including VLANs, subnetting, IP addressing, routing.
• Hardware deployment in data center environment with cabling and connectivity troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Data Center Operations & Hardware Deployment: Deploy, configure, and maintain hardware in a data center environment, including servers, network switches, storage arrays, and HSMs.
• Kubernetes & Server Management: Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters on bare metal or virtualized environments; troubleshoot container orchestration issues; optimize performance and security.
• Networking & Security: Configure and troubleshoot network switches, VLANs, subnetting, IP addressing, and routing; work with network security tools.
• System Administration & ing: Administer Linux and Windows operating systems; develop automation for deployment, configuration, and system monitoring; optimize performance and availability.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to support data center operations, hardware deployment, Kubernetes management, and networking tasks. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Linux and Windows environments, Kubernetes cluster management, network troubleshooting, and ing.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Center Operations & Hardware Deployment:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain hardware in a data center environment, including servers, network switches, storage arrays, and HSMs.
• Work with fiber optic and copper cabling (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a), including termination (RJ45, LC, SC connectors) and testing.
• Perform routine hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting.

Kubernetes & Server Management:

• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters on bare metal or virtualized environments.
• Troubleshoot issues related to container orchestration and workload distribution.
• Optimize Kubernetes performance and security.

Networking & Security:

• Configure and troubleshoot network switches, VLANs, subnetting, IP addressing, and routing.
• Conduct network performance analysis and resolve connectivity issues.
• Work with network security tools and configurations.

System Administration & ing:

• Administer and manage Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Develop and maintain automation s for deployment, configuration, and system monitoring.
• Optimize system performance, security, and availability.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows administration.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster deployment and management.
• Networking expertise, including VLAN, subnetting, IP addressing, routing, and network troubleshooting.
• Hardware deploymentexperience in a data center environment, including cabling and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in ing (e.g., Bash, Python, or PowerShell) for automation and system management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with containerization tools(Docker, Helm).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms(AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Certifications such as RHCE, CKAD/CKA, CCNA, or equivalent are a plus.
