Job summary

LINKS HR SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Telecommunications Engineer to design radio/security/navigation telecom systems, prepare drawings and procurement specs, and lead a small team on projects.

You will develop detailed diagrams and coordinate with other disciplines, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and certification processes. The role requires 5–8 years' experience, a relevant degree, and strong communication skills to engage customers and participate in technical project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or IT.
• 5-8 years of related experience in telecom/oil & gas/marine sectors.
• Ability to lead a team of telecom engineers and meet project schedules.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design telecom systems including radio, security, navigation aids, and wired comms.
• Prepare drawings and specifications for equipment procurement.
• Develop detailed system designs with diagrams and schematics.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and participate in customer meetings.
• Interpret customer requirements and clarification of design certification with customers and third parties.

Job description

• Design of telecommunication system (RadioCommunication System, Security System, Navigation Aids, Wired Communication)


• Preparation of drawings


• Preparation of specifications for procurement of equipment


• Develop detailed system design with diagrams and schematics.


• Selection of telecom equipment


• Develop bulk material listings


• Provide input for preparation of selected reports, weight, equipment list,function and fabrication / installation


• Coordination with other disciplines


• Professional responsibility


• Participate in all engineering phases


• Understand and interpret requirements from customers and authorities.


• Clarify design certification with customers and 3rd party.


• Participation in customer visits and –contact


• Participation in technical project meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor'sDegreeinTelecommunications,Electrical&Electronic Engineering,ComputerEngineering,orITisrequired


• 5-8 years of related experiences preferably in a relevant industry such as oil &gas, marine, shipyard, petrochemical, power plant is a MUST


• Able to lead a team of telecom engineer/junior telecomengineer to meet various project schedule, customer expectation


• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
