Job summary

NUNCHI MARINE PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on IT Manager to oversee the company’s IT environment and drive its digital transformation strategy.

You will manage IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, user support, vendors, and governance to ensure secure and reliable operations. Qualifications

  • Diploma/ bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, InformationSystems, or a related discipline.
  • 8-10years of relevant experience in IT project management and/or IT operations.
  • Experience managing software, network, infrastructure, or cybersecurity-related projects.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and vendors in a structured and effective manner.
  • Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, resource management, and risk mitigation.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and practices to support a secure and resilient IT delivery
  • Experience managing AI or digital transformation projects is highly preferred.
  • Experience in implementing SAP or Accounting Systems.
  • Experience managing outsourced vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, systems, networks and the user environment.
  • Develop and execute the Company's IT roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve business processes.
  • Proactively identify manual, repetitive, or inefficient processes across Trading, Operations, Finance, Risk and Corporate Functions that can be improved through technology.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation tools, and cloud solutions.
  • Recommend technology investments and prepare business cases for management approval.
  • Manage and support business systems such as Power Platform, Accounting System, Microsoft 365
  • Ensure the adoption of AI and digital tools does not compromise confidential trading information, commercially sensitive data, personal data, or company intellectual property.
  • Develop and enforce IT security policies.
  • Protect company systems against cyber threats.
  • Manage endpoint security, antivirus, firewalls, and access controls.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices.
  • Coordinate incident response and disaster recovery.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements.
  • Evaluate vendor performance.
  • Provide leadership for IT support services.
  • Ensure timely resolution of IT issues raised from colleagues.
  • Establish service standards and response times.
  • Improve end‑user experience through continuous improvement.

Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking a hands‑on IT Manager to oversee the company’s IT environment and drive its digital transformation strategy. The role manages IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, user support, vendors, and technology governance, ensuring secure and reliable operations.

The IT Manager will lead key technology initiatives, including AI solutions, enterprise systems, workflow automation, and cloud technologies, while collaborating with stakeholders and vendors to improve operational efficiency, safeguard company data, and deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
1. IT Strategy & Digital Transformation
  • Take full ownership of day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, systems, networks and the user environment.

  • Develop and execute the Company's IT roadmap aligned with business objectives.

  • Lead digital transformation initiatives to improve business processes.

2. IT Infrastructure & Operations
  • Ensure stable operation of servers, networks, internet connectivity, and cloud services.

  • Manage Microsoft 365 environment.

  • Manage company laptops, desktops, mobile devices, Wi‑Fi, VPN, firewalls and peripherals.

  • Monitor system performance and capacity planning.

  • Ensure regular backup and disaster recovery procedures.

  • Maintain IT asset inventories, software licenses, system documentation, configurations and renewal.

  • Establish appropriate governance for the adoption of AI and automation, including data

  • Conduct regular in‑house training on the adoption of new technology and automation tools.

3. Cybersecurity and Risk management
  • Develop and enforce IT security policies.
