Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Java backend developer to design, build, and maintain scalable trading applications. You will work across the full stack, including backend services and frontend interfaces, translating business requirements into robust technical solutions.

You will contribute to high performance, reliability, and security, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Java development experience (Java 8 or above).
• Backend development with multithreading and concurrency.
• Experience with trading or financial applications preferred.
• Solid understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud environments a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud environments is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
