Job summary

The Ministry of Trade and Industry (Singapore) is seeking an Executive to join the Economics Division's Resource Centre, supporting information services and library operations to help MTI officers access resources.

You will handle daily operations, manage loans and digital content, perform basic research, and provide administrative coordination across information, statistics, and outreach activities. A Diploma and at least 2 years' experience are required, with onsite work in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• At least 2 years of relevant information services or admin support experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Resource Centre operations and user enquiries.
• Manage loans, returns, reservations, and access to information resources.
• Maintain the Resource Centre’s physical collection and liaise with suppliers.
• Support digital content management and SharePoint alerts.
• Undertake basic research and information searches to support MTI officers.
• Provide administrative coordination for Resource Centre matters and outreach activities.
• Work across information, statistical and administrative functions as needed.
