Responsibilities
- o Develop and own the Cybersecurity Competency Roadmap, providing guidance for undergraduate students and academic staff in developing their cybersecurity competencies.
- o Lead and oversee a range of cybersecurity enablement programmes to facilitate the growth of information security skills among undergraduate students and academic staff.
- o Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in cybersecurity, ensuring the continued relevancy and currency of the enablement programmes and Cybersecurity Competency Roadmap.
Cybersecurity Projects
- Drive the adoption of sound information security practices across all projects.
- Collaborate with industry partners, faculty, Professional Officers and other stakeholders to conduct applied research in cybersecurity related technologies.
Teaching & Student Mentorship
- Develop and deliver digital skills literacy related courses or workshops to undergraduate students and staff. This includes development of learning contents and activities, providing consultations on digital skills/technology related queries, and assessment and grading of students’ work.
- Mentor and facilitate student learning by participating in and managing student projects.
Any other matters as directed by Director/Deputy Director
Job Requirements
- A good degree in Computer Science or a related field. Masters, PhD and/or relevant professional certifications would be advantageous.
- 10+ years of working experience, including at least 5 years in cybersecurity related fields.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying secure enterprise software solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Possess strong supervisory and project management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently, as well as within a team, to ensure that the project can meet the milestones adhering to the stipulated timeline.
- Enjoy working closely with students in an educational environment.
- Demonstrate proficiency to keep abreast of development in the field and pursue professional certification programs.
