What the role is
MAS is working on multiple fronts to ensure our financial institutions and workforce are positioned well to adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI). We are seeking a dynamic early-mid career professional to support industry engagement efforts that will strengthen the AI capabilities of Singapore’s financial sector and our workforce.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive industry engagement strategies for AI initiatives, building strong relationships with financial institutions, technology providers, and industry associations to foster collaborative AI innovation and adoption
- Organise stakeholder meetings, workshops, and industry forums that bring together diverse participants to share insights, discuss challenges, and co‑create solutions for responsible AI implementation in financial services
- Coordinate cross‑sector collaboration initiatives including public‑private partnerships, industry working groups, and international cooperation programmes that advance Singapore's position as a leading AI‑enabled financial centre
- Gather and synthesize industry feedback, market intelligence, and stakeholder insights to inform policy development, programme design, and strategic decision‑making for MAS’ industry development initiatives and regulatory approaches

What we are looking for
- Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in business development, partnership management, industry relations, or client engagement roles within financial services or technology sectors
- Demonstrated track record of building and maintaining strategic relationships with senior executives, industry leaders, and diverse stakeholder groups across complex organisational environments
- Experience organising and facilitating professional events, workshops, and stakeholder meetings with ability to manage complex logistics and diverse participant needs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels from technical experts to C‑suite executives
- Understanding of AI and emerging technologies in financial services with ability to discuss technical concepts and their business implications with industry participants
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, FinTech, Information Technology, or related field
- Background in AI, or emerging technology sectors with understanding of innovation ecosystems and technology adoption challenges in financial services
- Knowledge of Singapore's financial services landscape, regulatory environment, and experience with Asian financial markets and cross‑border collaboration
- Experience with international engagement including managing relationships with global financial institutions, technology companies, or regulatory counterparts
- Experience structuring collaboration frameworks, and experience negotiating and managing formal partnership agreements

This will be a 1‑year contract. As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
