Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore is seeking a Strategic Industrial Engineer (Automation) to provide reliable data and digital tools for daily capacity decisions and long-term Fab capacity management.

You will optimize dashboards, automate data collection from MES and manufacturing systems, and drive capacity standards, governance, and productivity programs within a global semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in semiconductors or industrial engineering.
• Proficient in Excel, Power BI and Python; strong organization skills.

YOUR ROLE

The Strategic Industrial Engineer (Automation) has responsibility for providing reliable data and digital tools to support daily capacity decision and strategic decision-making. This position also has a key role in Fab capacity management.

Primary Job Functions:

• Improve dashboard reporting and analytics to supports factory operations
• Automate data collection from MES and manufacturing systems.
• Develop Capacity Planning Standards & Procedures
• Ensure capacity database integrity and process governance
• Lead Programs related to Capacity Increase, Equipment efficiency; Productivity improvement

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Project Management or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of relevant working experience in the semiconductor industry, preferably in roles relating to industrial engineering, project management, process engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of excel, office suite , power bi, python
• Requires excellent coordination and organizing skills.
• High level of multi-tasking and capability to prioritize to meet the efficiency expectation.
• Proficient in Business Communication and Written skills.
