Job summary

Pteris Global Limited in Singapore seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to design electrical drawings, plan and monitor the design process, and maintain design documents for industrial automation projects.

You will coordinate electrical activities to meet project requirements, establish control standards, and ensure compliant component selection for advanced control systems. Strong English, 2–3 years’ experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD/EPLAN are essential.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Related working experience (2–3 years in Industrial Automation or similar).
Experience in motor control panel, control box and switchboard hardware design.
Familiar with PLC systems from Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron, etc.
Proficient with AutoCAD and EPLAN; MS Office skills.
English proficiency in written and oral communication is a MUST.
Able to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Design electrical drawings and plan the design process.
Maintain design documents and drawings; monitor progress.
Coordinate electrical activities to meet project requirements.
Establish control standards and procedures for monitoring systems.
Ensure design and component selection for advanced control systems conform to standards and specifications.
Collaborate with customers/consultants and sub-contractors on panel fabrication.
