Job summary

Wise is seeking a highly experienced Product Compliance & Risk leader to own India's regulatory and financial crime risk management. You will drive control design, risk assessment, and remediation work with product teams across APAC and globally.

You will partner with regulatory bodies, auditors and cross-functional teams to ensure compliant-by-design products and optimal customer experience, while travel across offices is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of regulatory and financial crime compliance experience in financial services.
• Deep understanding of regulators' expectations in India and fintech contexts.
• Ability to translate regulations into actionable business requirements for product teams.

Responsibilities

• Own design and improvement of product controls with a risk-based, customer-forward approach.
• Identify, assess and quantify regulatory and financial crime risks for India launches.
• Lead regulatory change, remediation plans and cross-border program impacts.
• Represent Wise in audits and regulatory inspections with clear remediations.
