Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Lift Maintenance Specialist to independently carry out the maintenance, servicing, inspection, troubleshooting and repair of elevators and escalators across assigned sites. You will perform routine maintenance, respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and ensure safe operation.

To qualify, a NITEC in mechanical/electrical/building environment (Vertical Transportation) and 2–4 years of lift/escalator experience are required; location: Kaki

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Environment (Vertical Transportation) or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of lift/escalator industry experience.
• Knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical systems and maintenance practices.
• Willing to respond to breakdown calls and work as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, servicing and inspection of elevators and escalators.
• Attend to breakdowns and service calls and respond promptly to equipment faults and operational issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and control system faults.
• Carry out repair, adjustment and replacement of defective or worn components to restore equipment performance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimise equipment downtime and ensure reliable operation.
• Perform functional checks after maintenance and repair works to ensure the equipment is operating safely and properly.
• Identify potential equipment issues and report abnormalities for further investigation or corrective action.
• Complete maintenance records, service reports and other required documentation accurately.
• Comply with Mitsubishi Elevator’s maintenance procedures, safety requirements and quality standards, as well as applicable Singapore regulations.
• Work closely with supervisors, engineers, customers and other technical teams to resolve maintenance-related issues.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure that all tools, equipment and work areas are properly managed.
• Carry out other maintenance, technical or operational duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
