Job summary

PERCEPT SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an embedded functional test engineer to use product domain knowledge and sound engineering practices to carry out firmware test activities, including strategy, planning, and execution.

You will act as main test engineer on the project, generate test docs, translate requirements into test cases, and participate in reviews. You will also develop test ware and scripts, debug failures, report anomalies, and perform regression testing as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with test strategy, planning, and execution.
• Translate requirements into test cases and tests.
• Participate in reviews for feature requirements.
• Develop test ware and test scripts; execute firmware functional tests.
• Defect analysis and triage with timely reporting.
• Experience with test lab development and bug tracking.
• Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, and testing in embedded environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as main test engineer and work independently on the assigned project.
• Generate test strategy, plan, and reports with team collaboration.
• Translate requirements to test requirements and test cases.
• Review feature requirements.
• Improve existing test cases.
• Develop test ware and test scripts; execute firmware functional tests.
• Debug failures, report and track anomalies; escalate as needed.
• Perform regression testing when required.
