Job summary

Percept Solutions is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to participate in new product design evaluation and to design, develop, and implement software for production test equipment. The role requires strong troubleshooting, hardware knowledge, and the ability to manage timelines and budgets while delivering cost-effective test solutions.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 5+ years of test engineering experience, with proficiency in C, C++,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, EEET or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years as a test engineer contributor in a team environment, designing and developing production test equipment.
• Experience with software development using C, C++, C#, and NI TestStand is a plus.
• Knowledge of electronic hardware and strong troubleshooting, analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the new product design evaluation process.
• Provide design feedback and requirements to the product team to ensure testability and coverage.
• Develop a test plan and test specification from design requirements.
• Manage and communicate project timelines and budgets to deliver cost-effective test solutions on schedule.
