Job summary

Legrand is seeking a Quality Incoming Technician to ensure incoming materials meet defined criteria using inspection equipment. You will resolve nonconforming materials with vendors and support production in following manufacturing processes.

The role requires strong communication, ability to read drawings/blueprints, and experience with ERP systems like Syteline. Exposure to Lean and ISO9001/AS9100 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to run reports and present information clearly.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Syteline/ERP and Microsoft Office.
• Exposure to lean manufacturing concepts and quality systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming material to confirm conformance with drawings/specifications.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) on new part submissions.
• Record inspection results in defined repository.
• Resolve nonconforming materials with vendors and document actions.
• Create/update test plans as required.
• Assist Quality team in investigating and containing nonconforming materials.
• Provide feedback to production and other departments to improve processes.
