Job summary

THE WINSTEDT SCHOOL PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced primary school teacher to plan and deliver high-quality lessons for students from Year 1 to Year 6. You will foster an inclusive classroom, differentiate instruction, and monitor progress with data-driven planning.

You will promote student wellbeing, collaborate with the Therapy and Pastoral Care teams, and engage families through effective communication. A strong commitment to safeguarding and professional growth is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a recognised teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ teaching experience in a school setting.
• Experience in inclusive education with UDL and diverse learning needs.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons for Primary years 1–6.
• Experience with assessment, progress monitoring and data-informed interventions.
• Strong classroom management and professional conduct.
• Excellent communication with students, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons for Primary students (Year 1–6).
• Create an inclusive, engaging and structured learning environment.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs, including neurodivergent learners.
• Monitor and assess student progress; use data to inform planning and intervention.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to support improvement.
• Promote wellbeing and pastoral care; safeguard students.
• Collaborate with colleagues, TPC staff and school leadership.
• Uphold school values, policies and professional standards.
• Lead homeroom duties: pastoral lead, teaching oversight and family communication.
• Contribute to ECAs, camps and enrichment programs.
