THE WINSTEDT SCHOOL PTE. LTD. is seeking an enthusiastic Art Educator to inspire creativity and skill development in students. You will plan and deliver engaging art lessons, adapting methods to support diverse learners while maintaining a safe, well-organised studio environment.

You will assess progress through portfolios and feedback, communicate with parents, and collaborate with staff to foster a culture of creativity, inclusion and student-centred learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts or related field required.
• Teaching qualification or relevant certification preferred.
• Minimum four years teaching experience.
• Experience working with neurodiverse students is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging art lessons that encourage creative exploration and skill development.
• Adapt teaching approaches to support diverse learning needs with clear scaffolding and demonstrations.
• Break down complex artistic processes into manageable steps to build student confidence and resilience.
• Encourage students to express ideas, emotions and experiences through creative practice.
• Develop students' understanding of artistic materials, tools and processes, fostering safe and responsible studio practice.
• Assess student progress through observation, portfolios and feedback to parents and staff.
• Communicate progress with parents and collaborate with the student's support team as appropriate.
