Job summary

ByteDance's Silicon Platform Team in Singapore is seeking an experienced physical design engineer to own the implementation of critical blocks from netlist to tapeout. You will drive PI/PV/timing signoff, push PPA optimization, and collaborate with RTL, Synthesis, DFT and STA teams to troubleshoot complex implementation issues while enabling mass production.

You'll contribute across floorplanning, partitioning, and cross-block timing closure for AI cores and server-grade subsystems, with

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in physical design / physical implementation.
• Experience owning complex digital blocks from netlist to tapeout.
• Hands-on experience with PD tools: Synopsys ICC2, Cadence Innovus.
• Experience with floorplanning, partitioning, and cross-block timing closure.

Responsibilities

• Own the physical implementation of one or multiple blocks/subsystems/SOC from netlist to GDS.
• Drive PI/PV/timing signoff and ensure signoff closure.
• Push PPA optimization for high-performance cores.
• Collaborate with RTL, Synthesis, DFT, and STA teams to resolve issues.
