Job summary

DesignSingapore Council in Singapore seeks an Assistant Manager/Manager in the Design Practice division to drive initiatives, events, and strategic engagements that develop design mindsets and skills across the General Education ecosystem.

You will support Learning by Design and related programmes, lead school engagements, and help organise events like the Design Education Summit and public community activations, with emphasis on collaboration with schools and public agencies.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or up to 4 years of experience in programme implementation, project management and managing relationships across stakeholders
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Events, Design or related field
• Self-driven, results-oriented with strong written and communication skills to engage stakeholders
• Resilient, open-minded problem-solver with a proactive mindset to adapt to fast-changing environments
• Knowledgeable of design, education sector and General Education context is preferred

Responsibilities

• Support Design Practice division to deepen public participation and deliver design-led programmes across education, community and public sectors
• Contribute to Design Practice core portfolio and Singapore Design Biennale initiatives including planning and stakeholder engagement
• Coordinate programme planning, timelines, budgets and progress tracking for timely delivery
• Engage internal and external stakeholders, prepare reports and briefings
• Support procurement, budget administration and contract processes
• Facilitate community engagement workshops and co-creation activities
• Research community needs, map stakeholders and synthesize insights for programme development
• Assist in developing Design Districts and other activations
