Job summary

DesignSingapore Council, the national agency for design, seeks a Senior Strategic Design Lead for the Design Practice Division to drive SoX and Learning by Design strategies and to develop delivery roadmaps that realise the Design Masterplan.

You will coach Design Practice teams, embed design thinking in programmes, and collaborate with public service organisations and schools to foster a design‑led culture and impact‑driven outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Experience using design to achieve societal or environmental outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Drive business growth for SoX and LbD programmes by translating client needs into proposals.
• Provide guidance on applying design-led approaches to public service organisations and schools.
• Develop programme content with cross‑functional teams to realise client outcomes.
• Oversee delivery and ensure core milestones and governance are met.
• Coach Design Practice officers and foster a values‑driven, design‑led culture.
• Capture data, monitor progress, and report outcomes to stakeholders.
