Job summary

KR+D, a subsidiary of Kingsmen Creatives Ltd, is seeking a 3D Designer to transform concepts into immersive environments across museums, visitor centres, and exhibitions. You will develop concepts, create sketches and 3D visuals, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver engaging experiences.

The role demands 3–4 years of relevant experience, proficiency in 3ds Max and Photoshop, and familiarity with CAD/3D tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Museum Design, Exhibition Design, Interior Design, Spatial Design, Architecture, Environmental Design, or a related discipline
• Minimum 3–4 years of relevant experience in exhibition, experiential, museum, attraction, themed entertainment, retail, hospitality, or interior design projects
• Experience managing projects from concept development through production and installation
• Proficiency in 3ds Max and Adobe Photoshop
• Experience with AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, Lumion, Twinmotion, or Unreal Engine
• Strong spatial planning and conceptual design skills
• Ability to communicate ideas through sketches, diagrams, and visual presentations
• Experience in concept generation, visitor journey design, and immersive experience development
• Understanding of multimedia technologies, digital experiences, and emerging industry trends

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and spatial design solutions from initial ideation through production and installation
• Translate stories, content, and themes into engaging visitor experiences and memorable physical environments
• Create concept sketches, mood boards, space plans, and 3D visualisations that communicate design intent effectively
• Collaborate closely with content developers, strategists, and multidisciplinary teams to shape visitor journeys and storytelling experiences
• Produce 3D models, presentation visuals, and design documentation to support client presentations and project delivery
• Develop innovative and practical design solutions that balance creativity, function, and feasibility
• Research emerging trends, technologies, and industry best practices to inform design approaches
• Integrate multimedia and interactive elements into spatial environments where appropriate
• Work closely with project managers, fabricators, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained throughout implementation
• Conduct site visits and quality inspections during installation and project delivery
