Job summary

KIN PRODUCTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a creative yet practical 3D Designer to translate briefs into compelling 3D visuals for live events. You will work with project teams to design event environments, hospitality spaces and activation areas with attention to space, branding and buildability.

The role requires strong visualization skills, experience with event design, and the ability to translate sketches and floor plans into presentation-ready outputs for proposals and project development.

Qualifications

Company Overview

KIN is a sports events delivery specialist, delivering major sporting and live events. Our projects involve the planning, design and delivery of event environments, temporary infrastructure, venue overlays and branded spaces.

We are looking for a 3D Designer to support our project and design teams in developing creative, practical and visually compelling design solutions for events and live environments.

Job Summary

The 3D Designer will work closely with the Project and Design teams to translate project briefs, venue requirements and creative concepts into 3D visualizations, spatial designs and presentation materials.

The role requires a good balance of creativity and practical understanding, with the ability to design for real-world event environments where considerations such as space, buildability, materials, crowd movement, branding and operational requirements are important.

Key Responsibilities

3D Design & Visualization

• Develop 3D concepts and visualizations for sporting events, live events, temporary structures, hospitality areas, activation spaces, stages, booths and other event environments.
• Translate project briefs, sketches, floor plans and design directions into clear and compelling 3D visuals.
• Produce realistic renderings, perspectives and presentation visuals for client proposals, tenders and project development.
• Develop spatial concepts that incorporate branding, event identity and functional requirements.
• Prepare design options and make revisions based on client, management and project team feedback.

Project & Design Support

• Work closely with Project Managers and the Design team to understand project scope, venue conditions and operational requirements.
• Support tender and proposal submissions through the preparation of concept visuals, layouts and presentation materials.
• Assist in developing venue layouts and event spaces, taking into consideration visitor experience, circulation, sightlines and operational needs.
• Ensure designs are practical and can be translated into actual event builds.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors and suppliers where necessary to clarify design intent, materials, dimensions and finishes.
• Make design adjustments during the project development and production stages when required.

Design Documentation

• Prepare drawings and design information required to communicate concepts to internal teams, clients and vendors.
• Maintain organized project design files, drawings, renderings and reference materials.
• Ensure design work is completed accurately and within project and tender deadlines.
• Support the preparation of presentation decks, mood boards, material references and other visual communication materials.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in 3D Design, Spatial Design, Interior Design, Exhibition Design, Architecture, Event Design or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in 3D visualization, event design, exhibitions, interior/spatial design or a related environment.
• Proficient in relevant 3D modelling and rendering software such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite would be an advantage.
• Strong spatial awareness, visualization and design presentation skills.
• Able to interpret floor plans, dimensions and technical information.
• Good understanding of materials, finishes and practical build considerations is an advantage.
• Able to work on multiple projects and respond to tight deadlines and changing project requirements.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with project managers, designers, contractors and suppliers.
• Experience in sports events, exhibitions, experiential events, temporary structures or large-scale live events would be an advantage.
