Job summary

Armor Asia Imaging Supplies Pte Ltd is seeking a Plant Engineer to support plant operations and improve manufacturing efficiencies. You will plan, coordinate, install, modify and maintain equipment while contributing to a safe work environment.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment installation, testing, root-cause analysis, and managing spare parts. Strong collaboration with internal teams and external contractors is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma familiarity preferred.
• 3–5 years of relevant manufacturing experience.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Install, commission, and maintain machinery and production equipment.
• Test and diagnose root causes of equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Identify engineering solutions to support production and efficiency.

• Carry out other operational duties to support plant operations.

JOB SUMMARY

The Plant Engineer plays a key role in supporting plant operations and improving manufacturing efficiencies. The position is responsible for planning and coordinating manufacturing activities within the plant, including the installation, modification, performance optimization, and maintenance of equipment and machinery. The Plant Engineer will also contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Perform installation, commissioning, and maintenance of machinery and production equipment.
• Conduct testing and diagnose root causes of equipment malfunctions and failures, including routine maintenance.
• Identify and implement engineering solutions to support production requirements and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage spare parts inventory to minimize production disruptions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Carry out other operational duties as assigned to support plant operations.

COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Internal: All employees

External: Contractors and counterparts in France and ASPAC

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.

Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Competencies:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Project Management tools.
• Knowledge of software programming will be an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for equipment issues.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawing
• Demonstrated people and contractor management skills.
