Job summary

Edmund Optics Singapore is seeking a Business Development Engineer to grow our customer base across Southeast Asia, based in Penang, Malaysia. This technical sales role leverages an established book of semiconductor, automation, and machine vision accounts and focuses on expanding Edmund Optics’ market share in the region.

The ideal candidate has an existing regional network, a track record of key account growth, and the ability to engage customer engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Optics, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years in technical sales, account management, or business development in a technical product field.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts across Southeast Asia.
• Identify new opportunities within existing customers and expand Edmund Optics’ share of business.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and guidance to customers; coordinate with internal teams.
