Job summary

MSD in Singapore is seeking a junior to mid-level data/ imaging scientist to develop and optimize AI/ML imaging analytics for drug discovery. You will analyze biological imaging data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to biomarker development in a fast-paced research environment.

The role welcomes fresh graduates or those with 1–2 years of experience, emphasizing exposure to AI, image analysis, and programming in MATLAB, Python or R.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduates or 1–2 years of work experience are encouraged to apply.
• A degree in CS, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology or Biostatistics with exposure to AI and image analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct, optimize, and troubleshoot imaging and data analytics work to support drug discovery and development.
• Contribute to AI/ML-enabled software algorithms for image and data analysis.
• Analyze big data from biobanks/cohort studies to advance understanding of biology and disease.
• Engage in cross-functional collaborations with hospitals, research institutes, universities or CROs for AI/ML imaging and data analytics.
• Maintain data integrity and documentation including workflows, reports and study logs.
