Job summary

IKEA Tampines is hiring a Goodsflow Assistant in Singapore. The role involves picking items in the warehouse and on the shop floor for online and store customers to ensure timely delivery. You will perform inventory checks, maintain data integrity, and support stock availability.

You will adhere to quality, safety, and security standards, keep the warehouse clean and safe, and may operate a pallet jack. Expect rotating shifts starting as early as 7am, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Work under pressure in a fast-paced warehouse logistics environment.
• Energetic, physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work.

• Basic PC literacy with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Pick articles in the warehouse and shop floor for online and store customers to meet delivery schedules.

About the job

Reporting to the Goods Flow Team Manager, you will be responsible for the goods flow process in eCommerce in IKEA Tampines; ensuring the most efficient, commercial and safe way possible to provide a good shopping experience for our customers.

Your assignment

• You will be responsible for the picking of articles in the warehouse and shop floor for online and store customers, ensuring there is no backlogs in order to meet the delivery schedules;
• You will perform inventory checks and ensure data integrity and the highest stocks availability for customers;
• You will adhere to quality, security and safety service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations;
• You need to ensure the warehouse is clean and safe for work for yourself and fellow co-workers by following our safety guidelines;
• You may be required to operate pallet jack to move pallets of products or heavy articles from time to time and properly store/stage all pallets in assigned locations;
• Assume responsibility for other ad-hoctasks and projects as assigned.

Your profile

• You are able to work under pressure in a fast paced and dynamic warehouse logistics environment;
• You are energetic and physically fit and enjoy hands on physical work; with many hours spent on your feet walking around the store;
• You are customer service oriented and a team player who is motivated and committed with a strong sense of responsibility;
• You are pc literate and have basic knowledge in Microsoft Office software;
• You are able to commit to rotating shifts starting as early as 7am including working on weekends and public holidays.
