IKEA Singapore is seeking a Food Restaurant Associate to support daily operations, deliver friendly service and maintain a clean dining area.

You will handle cashier transactions, assist with stock checks, and uphold food safety and cleanliness standards while working AM/PM shifts, including weekends and public holidays. A team player attitude is essential to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high volume.

Qualifications

• Team player and customer-service oriented in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
• Able to cope with long hours of standing and lifting heavy trays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the restaurant area; clear dishes and tidy tables and chairs.
• Handle cashier duties with accurate sales processing.
• Disposer and clear food wastage from central clearing area.
• Adhere to SOPs and uphold Quality, Service and Cleanliness standards (Q.S.C.).
• Comply with food safety, hygiene and health & safety regulations at all times.
• Perform stock checks and keep inventory records accurate and up to date.
• Promote sales through upselling and add-ons to customers.

Job Description
Reporting to the IKEA Food Restaurant Manager, you will support the daily operations of IKEA Food Restaurant by delivering excellent customer service, handling cashier transactions, and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant area.

Your assignment

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the restaurant area by clearing the dishes and utensils, including cleaning of tables and chairs.
• Disposing and clearing of food wastage from the central clearing area.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and uphold high standards of Quality, Service and Cleanliness (Q.S.C.).
• Comply with food safety, hygiene practices and health and safety regulations at all times.
• Handle cashier duties, including accurate processing of sales transactions.
• Perform stock checks and ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date.
• Promote sales through effective upselling and recommending add-ons to customers.

Your profile

• You are a team player, customer-service oriented and able to cope in a fast-paced and high-volume restaurant.
• You are comfortable with maintaining restaurant cleanliness and manage cashiering duties.
• You are able to withstand prolonged hours of standing and lift heavy trays.
• You are able to commit to working on AM/PM shifts, including weekend and public holiday.
