Job summary

Apple's Identity Management Services (IdMS) Quality Engineering team is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test with a strong background in software development and quality engineering. You will oversee the quality of features across Apple Account Identity platforms on iOS, macOS, and Web, building automated test frameworks and contributing to faster, more reliable releases.

Qualifications

5+ years of proven experience in Software Development/Quality Engineering.
Experience in developing and maintaining automated test libraries and tools.
Strong programming and software design skills, preferably in Swift and/or Python.
Excellent knowledge of test methodologies from unit tests to exploratory testing.
Experience with testing on iOS, macOS, Web, Android and Windows.

Responsibilities

Defining, implementing, and continuously evolving automated test frameworks.
Monitoring CI performance, test result analysis, and test triage and reporting.
Identify gaps in existing test plans and enhance them for scalability and maintainability.
Drive quality throughout the software development process and advocate for best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
