Job summary

GAIN EMPLOYMENT SERVICES PTE. LTD. seeks an ICT trainer to develop and deliver training materials for school students, aligning with the ALP curriculum.

You will implement ICT lessons using Google Workspace, iPad apps like Procreate, and AI tools while preparing resources and projects for ongoing programs. You will assist in managing ICT projects and support staff and students with software usage, data hygiene, and AVA duties, including videography and event coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum DIPLOMA in the relevant discipline (IT and multimedia related)
• Ability to deliver training programs to secondary students & maintain classroom discipline
• Proficient in Google Workspace such as Google Sites, Google Classroom and Google Docs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive
• Proficient in emerging AI tools
• Proficient in iPad apps such as Apple Classroom, Pages, Notes, Calendar and Reminders.
• Have basic Photography and Videography skills.
• Ability to provide training for staffs and students on the ICT software or apps listed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare training materials, implement, evaluate, and review training programs for school students in alignment with the school's strategic plan and philosophy.
• Be proficient in Google Workspace like Google Classroom, Docs, Sites and Procreate on iPad.
• Be knowledgeable with productivity software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive and AI tools (ChatGPT, Google Gemini).
• Conduct ICT lessons on using Google Workspace apps and iPad applications.
• Prepare teaching materials/resources, exercises, and projects for the ALP curriculum as needed.
• Assist to manage, survey, monitor, and evaluate progress of ICT projects/assignments like National Digital Explorer (NDE) and Code For Fun (CFF) and AI programmes.
• Assist in Personalised Digital Learning Programme (PDLP) e.g., training students on Personal Learning Devices and liaising with suppliers.
• Promote good data management habits (data backup, housekeeping).
• Provide administrative support for the ICT department.
• Support school in promoting Google Classroom, Google Calendar, and Google Sites and conduct required training for students.
• Support school in promoting Microsoft Teams, OneDrive and other ICT tools with training for staff and students.
• Work with teachers, providing advice on software usage and ICT issues.
• Train and support teachers and students on app/software for teaching and learning.
• Provide videography support during lesson observations and create videos for events and staff training.
• Provide event coverage using photography/videography and AVA support for school events.
• Train student leaders and assist with AVA equipment in AVA CCA.
• Assist in managing the school website.
