Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in an IT-related field or computer science.

• Experience teaching or executive support in a Primary School is advantageous; basic coding for Code for Fun program is a plus.

Job Description & Core Responsibilities

We are looking for a tech-savvy, dynamic, and collaborative individual to drive our school's ICT learning programs and manage operational media ecosystems. You will take on a blended role directly conducting creative digital media training for students while simultaneously anchoring the school's internal ICT administration pipelines.

1. Student Training & Curriculum Delivery

• IT Literacy Instruction: Plan and conduct IT lessons for students across levels Primary 1 to Primary 6 based on the school's structured programs.
• Core Skillsets Taught: Touch typing (English, Chinese, and Tamil), E-Book making, MS Office/Google Workspace, Video Puppetry (via tablets), Animation/Stop Motion, Digital Art (Procreate on iPad), Canva, and basic coding (text/block-based).
• Co-Curricular Activities (CCA): Drive weekly lessons and project milestones for the Digital Media Club and support the execution of the Robotics CCA work plan.

2. Teaching & Learning (T&L) Resource Management

• Web 2.0 Integration: Teach staff and pupils how to successfully integrate Web 2.0 tools for learning across mobile tablets and laptops.
• Resource Creation: Partner closely with academic staff to design digital lesson materials, student test platforms, and specialized learning templates.
• E-Learning Culture: Champion digital citizenship and guide students to maintain a healthy, active e-learning environment.

3. School Operations & Executive Support

• Event Infrastructure: Facilitate school-wide events and competitions by creating video montages, mixing music, managing audio-visual recording equipment, and coordinating surveys.
• Media Production: Set up studio tools to manage green/blue screen overlays, record podcasts, handle photography/videography, and design public-facing presentations or banners.
• ICT Administration: Manage computer laboratory bookings, administer T&L feedback systems, execute internal training logistics, and track software or equipment procurement.
• Asset Management: Support the ICT Manager with structured stock-taking, hardware cataloging, and equipment verification cycles.

Job Requirements

• Educational Background: Minimum of a Diploma or equivalent in an IT-related field or computer science discipline.
• Core Competencies: Strong command of spoken and written English, paired with excellent interpersonal communication to work cohesively with teachers, students, and vendors.
• Technical Skillsets: Highly proficient in MS Office/Google applications, photography, videography, and professional video editing suites.
• Preferred Experience: Prior work history in teaching, instructing, or executive support within a Primary School environment is highly advantageous. Basic coding capabilities to support the Code for Fun national program are a strong plus.
• Soft Skills: A dedicated team player who is highly adaptable, organized, and enthusiastic about mentoring young learners.
