Job summary

widewings pte.ltd is seeking an experienced ICT educator to develop, review, and teach lower secondary computer education programmes. You will train students in Microsoft Office, Python/Swift coding, robotics, and AI tools, while supporting makerspace activities and multimedia creation.

You will also manage classroom dynamics, run learning platforms like Teams and OneNote, and assist in photography/video projects for school programmes and events.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma with 5+ years' experience or bachelor's degree with 3+ years' experience in conducting computer education programmes, providing multimedia services, and ICT-related training in a school environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote Class Notebook).
• Experience in coding languages such as Python and Swift and using Swift Playgrounds or equivalents.
• Experience with programmable devices/robotics kits (M5GO, LEGO, Micro:Bit) with Python or block-based programming.
• Familiarity with school teaching/learning platforms (Teams, Class Notebook).
• Experience with AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, NotebookLM) and video editing tools (Canva, Capcut).
• Experience creating multimedia resources and managing Isomer content.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, reviewing, and teaching lower secondary computer education programmes.

Assist in developing, reviewing, and teaching of lower secondary computer education programmes for secondary school students in the following areas:

Microsoft Office skills, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, to prepare them for Microsoft Office Certification

Coding language (e.g. Python, Swift), including the use of Swift Playgrounds or equivalent online platforms

Computational thinking and problem-solving using programmable devices or robotics kits such as Micro:Bit, M5GO, LEGO robotics kits, or equivalent, incorporating coding in Python or block-based programming

School Teaching and Learning platforms (e.g. Teams, OneNote Class Notebook)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools (e.g. Copilot, ChatGPT, NotebookLM)

Video Editing using tools such as Canva, Capcut or equivalent and any other relevant applications

Develop, review and teaching of makerspace education activities such as Cricut-based craft and design, 3D printing, or equivalent

Assist in training Infocomm Club students to create videos, graphic posters and animations

Coordinate and support students’ participation in multimedia related competitions

Maintain the school’s photography equipment

Provide technical support and manage the school website using relevant content management platforms, such as Isomer or equivalent

Provide multimedia support for school programmes and events, including:

Developing collateral materials for school programmes, events and external collaborations

Providing photography and videography support

Create multimedia resources for teaching and learning,and any other duties as assigned

Required Experience and Skills

Minimum Diploma with 5 + years' experience or bachelor's degree with 3+ years' experience in conducting computer education programmes, providing multimedia services, and conducting ICT-related training or workshops in a school environment

Experience in conducting computer education programmes, including:

Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and OneNote Class Notebook

Coding Language, such as Python and Swift, including the use of Swift Playgrounds or equivalent online platforms

Computational thinking and problem-solving using programmable devices or robotics kits, such as M5GO, LEGO robotics kits, Micro:Bit or equivalent, with Python, block-based programming or equivalent platforms.

School teaching & learning platforms (Teams, Class Notebook, etc.)

Video Editing, such as Canva, Capcut or equivalent

Experience in multimedia creation/ video creation and editing tools, such as Pro-Create, Canva, Capcut, iMovie, GarageBand, Adobe applications

Experience in updating and managing website content using Isomer or equivalent content management platforms

Experience in conducting makerspace education activities, such as Cricut-based craft and design, 3D printing or equivalent activities

Strong classroom pedagogy, classroom management and student engagement skills
