Job summary

The IBOR Accounting Specialist II (SP2) at BNY Mellon is responsible for accurate, timely, and controlled processing across the IBOR. You own end-to-end account processing and reconciliations for medium to high complexity accounts, and collaborate across Middle Office Operations.

You will resolve breaks between IBOR and third-party sources, document remediation, escalate when needed, and interact with clients to provide consulting and data updates in IBOR systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–6 years of total relevant work experience, with reconciliation and portfolio accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process, monitor, research, and analyze IBOR transactions and resolve complex inquiries.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external clients to gather data-related information.
• Conduct research on complex transactions for listed assets (equities, fixed income, government bonds, money markets).
• Manage IBOR portfolio accounting activities and reconciliations for complex accounts.
• Monitor and report IBOR activities including accounting close, cash projection, and client statements.
• Collaborate to deliver recommendations and escalate as needed; provide guidance to less-experienced staff.
