ThatEconsTutor (TET) is seeking passionate IB and/or Singapore-Cambridge A-Level Economics tutors for full-time and part-time roles. You will design clear, structured lessons and guide students in applying economic theories to real-world issues.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in economics, have at least 2 years of teaching experience, and are familiar with IB or A-Level syllabi. Competitive remuneration, ongoing training and career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or related discipline.
• At least 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience.
• Familiarity with the IB Economics and/or Singapore-Cambridge A-Level Economics syllabus.
• Strong understanding of microeconomics, macroeconomics and economic policy.
• Excellent analytical, communication and explanation skills.
• Ability to develop structured, well-supported economic arguments and evaluations.
• Genuine passion for teaching and mentoring young people.

Role Overview

ThatEconsTutor (TET) is looking for passionate and dedicated IB and/or A-Level Economics Tutors (Full-Time / Part-Time) to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach IB Economics (SL/HL) and/or Singapore-Cambridge A-Level Economics (H1/H2).

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience (full-time or part-time) preferred.
• Familiarity with the IB Economics and/or Singapore-Cambridge A-Level Economics syllabus.
• Strong understanding of microeconomics, macroeconomics and economic policy.
• Excellent analytical, communication and explanation skills.

• Prior MOE or IB teaching experience is an advantage.

Work Arrangements

Full-Time

• Structured teaching schedule, including weekday evenings and weekends.

Part-Time

• Flexible teaching arrangements, typically weekday evenings and weekend mornings or afternoons.
• Minimum teaching commitment to be mutually agreed upon.

Compensation

• Part-Time: Starting from S$50/hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
• Full-Time: Competitive monthly salary, commensurate with experience and responsibilities.
