Job summary

Singapore Refining Company Private Limited is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to perform preventive maintenance, inspections and calibrations of instrumentation equipment in our refinery.

You will maintain instrumentation under routine maintenance, support after-hours issues to minimize downtime, ensure HSE/SWP compliance, and bring strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. A Diploma/NITEC in engineering with 3 years of refinery experience is preferred, EMA license is desirable.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NITEC in a relevant Engineering discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in an oil refinery/petrochemical plant, preferably with EMA license.
• Candidates without relevant experience may be considered for entry-level positions.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance and regular inspections of instrumentation equipment, and assist in troubleshooting/failure analysis to identify rectification work.
• Perform repairs and modification works including operating and maintaining instrumentation under routine maintenance programme.
• Calibrate and test instruments to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Provide after-hours support to minimise downtime and address plant/equipment maintenance issues.
• Ensure that all HSE and Safe Work Procedures (SWP) are followed.

• Provide support and services in addressing any plant/equipment maintenance issues that may arise after office hours in order to minimise disruption/downtime to plant/equipment operation.
• Ensure that all HSE and Safe Work Procedure (SWP) are followed
