Job summary

Deutsche Bank Private Bank/Wealth Management in Asia Pacific seeks a Credit Risk Officer to independently assess lending and derivative transactions for the Wealth Management client base. Qualifications

• 3+ years of banking experience focusing on structured lending in wealth management or corporate credit risk management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, finance, economics, statistics, science, or MBA with strong academic record.
• Strong Excel-based data analysis and financial modelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently assess lending and derivative transactions, including facility type, transaction structure, and collateral quality (equities, bonds, notes, private shares, real estate, art, aircraft, yachts).
• Assign credit ratings and prepare independent credit memos based on risk assessment.
• Monitor the portfolio for emerging risk and ensure risk appetite, limits, and policies are followed.
• Support the preparation of reports and portfolio analysis for auditors, regulators, and senior management.
• Contribute to remediation efforts addressing regulatory and audit findings and drive changes across risk management processes.
