Job summary

Empact seeks a Consultant in the Social Technology team to drive digital transformation for non-profits and grantmakers. You will bridge strategy, hands-on delivery, and advisory roles, leading tech implementations from prototype to production in real-world environments.

You will engage with social service agencies, NGOs, and donors, guiding projects, managing clients, and building capabilities through training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT/management consulting, digital transformation, or tech project management.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, CRM/ERP, donor management tools, workflow automation, low-code platforms, and practical workplace AI applications.
• Strong analytical thinking, requirements gathering, and business process mapping skills.
• Exceptional stakeholder management—translate complex tech jargon into actionable guidance.

Responsibilities

• Digital Transformation & Tech Advisory: assess readiness, identify bottlenecks, and design fit-for-purpose tech solutions.
• End-to-End Project Delivery: lead cross-functional projects from inception to production.
• Client Management: act as the primary contact for non-profit executives and donors.
• Capacity Building: run training/workshops and manage tech volunteers and interns.
• Internal IT Support & Data Management: troubleshoot, migrate data, and support tools onboarding.
• Team Leadership & Business Development: mentor staff and contribute to proposals and funding opportunities.
• Trend Monitoring: stay updated on emerging tech trends to improve operations.
