Job summary

ABB is seeking a PMO Manager in Singapore to lead the execution of small to medium projects, ensuring compliance with ABB policies, standards, and financial controls. You will guide teams, manage contracts, and coordinate with Supply Chain and customers to deliver agreed outcomes.

The role requires strong English communication, regional travel readiness, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, or related engineering discipline.
• 5 to 8 years of project management experience, preferably in Automation, Electrification, Digital, or industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, including project financials, cash flow management, budgeting, risk management, and contractual administration.
• Proficiency in project management and enterprise systems, including Microsoft Project and SAP ERP.
• Experience working within process industries such as Pulp & Paper, Metals, Cement, Mining, or other heavy industries across Southeast Asia is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills, with strong proficiency in spoken and written English and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and customers.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, continuous learning, innovation, and flexibility to travel as required within the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of small to medium size projects.
• Ensure activities comply with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets.
• Lead project team members to meet requirements and deliverables.
• Monitor scope, schedule, resources, risks, and financial performance.
• Manage contract and claims activities, securing Variations for changes.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to procure services, materials, and equipment.
• Serve as primary customer interface and escalation point, maintaining stakeholder relationships.
• Drive project closure through lessons learned, customer acceptance, and contract close-out.
