Job summary

ABB Singapore seeks a Project Manager to lead the execution of small to medium projects within process industries. You will ensure activities align with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets, and guide the project team to meet contracted deliverables.

The role emphasizes strong stakeholder communication, contract and claims management, and collaboration with Supply Chain. Travel within the region may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, electronics, or related engineering discipline.
• 5–8 years of project management experience in automation or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of project financials, cash flow, budgeting, risk management, and contracts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and SAP ERP.
• Experience in process industries across Southeast Asia is advantageous.
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of small to medium size projects per procedures and standards.
• Manage project scope, schedule, resources, risks, and financial performance.
• Lead contract and claims management and secure Variation Orders.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Management for procurement and supplier negotiations.
• Serve as primary customer interface and escalation point.
• Drive project closure and lessons learned.
