Job summary

GMP RECRUITMENT SERVICES (S) PTE LTD is seeking a Demand Planner to support end-to-end demand planning and IBP processes. You will work with Sales, Marketing, Commercial, Supply Planning and Logistics teams to develop accurate forecasts and align plans with customer needs and business requirements.

This role focuses on data analysis, cross-functional collaboration and turning insights into actions, with a 6-month contract and potential for renewal or permanent conversion.

Qualifications

• Experience in Demand Planning or Supply Planning in FMCG is preferred.
• Exposure to IBP/S&OP processes is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills with data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop 0–24 month demand forecasts at Category, Brand and SKU level.
• Manage short-term weekly demand plans and longer-term forecasts.
• Coordinate forecast inputs from Sales, Marketing, Revenue and Category Planning teams.
• Review SKU/location mix, pacing and run rates to identify demand changes and risks.
• Participate in the IBP cycle and support planning discussions.
• Collaborate with Supply Planners to align demand and supply plans.

Demand Planner | Up to $5,500 + Bonus

Location: Boon Lay
Salary: SGD $5,000 – $5,500/month
Completion Bonus: 0.5 month upon successful completion of contract
Contract Duration: 6 months, with an opportunity for renewal and potential conversion to a permanent position.
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Flexi-hours available
Work Arrangement: 3 days office / 2 days remote
Start Date: ASAP / Immediate availability preferred

About the Role

We are looking for a Demand Planner to support the end-to-end demand planning and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process.

You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Commercial, Supply Planning and Logistics teams to develop accurate demand forecasts, analyse business trends and ensure plans are aligned with customer and business requirements.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain 0–24 month demand forecasts at Category, Brand and SKU level.
• Manage both short-term weekly demand plans and longer-term forecasts.
• Coordinate forecast inputs from Sales, Marketing, Revenue and Category Planning teams.
• Review SKU/location mix, weekly pacing and run rates to identify demand changes and potential risks.
• Participate in the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle and support planning discussions.
• Work closely with Supply Planners to align demand and supply plans and address gaps.
• Monitor key planning KPIs such as forecast accuracy, demand trends, supply sufficiency and potential shipment risks.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on forecast errors, bias and service issues, and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Order Processing and Logistics teams to support customer fulfilment and inventory management.
• Identify potential inventory freshness and obsolescence risks and support appropriate mitigation plans.
• Contribute to digitalisation and forecasting improvement initiatives, including AI forecasting and advanced planning tools.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning or a related field
• Experience in FMCG / consumer goods or another fast-paced industry is an advantage
• Exposure to IBP / S&OP processes is highly advantageous
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including advanced functions and/or macros
• Experience with SAP/APO is highly advantageous
• Good business acumen and ability to understand commercial and operational priorities
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Comfortable working with multiple teams and managing tight monthly planning timelines
• Able to follow through on issues and drive actions to completion
